| Folks, I just bought myself a 1991 BMW 525i with 170,000 miles for $3100 US. It is very clean from the outside. I had it checked by a mechanic, and the only issue he saw in it was a ball joint replacement (which i will change). Besides that it drives well.
My question is the how to change the Digital Information Display(i dont know what the bmw technical term is, but its the display right next to the digital mile-o-meter). Currently i can barely see it.Of the 2 lines. I can only very dimly see the 1st line. the 2nd line is probably not working at all. How easy/hard it is to change this display and how expensive is it? if its easy to fix should i just get one from the junker?
Also do you guys suggest anything else (Change-replace etc. etc.) i do to my new beemer b4 putting it to its paces of everyday life?
