Changed trunk sensor...radio volume stays on mute!!!

I just took my 530i (2004) to get the trunk semsor replaced, works fine but now the volume on the radio stays on mute, cd's won't play and changer won't come out!!! Help! Does something need to be reset? The radio screen is up, but when I try to switch to cd it flickers back to radio....no volume either way seems to be muted.

Check all the connectors back their. If something is unplugged it usually throws the whole thing outa wack. When i removed my rear speakers and 6 Disc CD changer the whole audio system wouldnt work,

So how did you fix it? what was unplugged? I have the same problem after having a shop change the rear shock mounts.

The Bentley Manual states that if any component is removed or breaks the whole system stops working. You should check your connectors leading to the speakers and cd changer.
