Change OBC in E39? - BMW Forum

Hello

I'm wondering if it's possible to fit a "big" OBC in a E39 with a "small" one mounted original?

If so, what do I need to do it?

Or is the best thing to do to fit a Dynavin unit right away?

I think you can because it also replaces the radio etc... The cassette/cd is behind the larger screen!
You might need afew extra modules to use other functions like Phone, Sat Nav etc...

I am pretty sure that the 16:9 unit is common to the E38, E39 and some E53. As Dabsy said, you may need additinal pieces to make it all work, and there may be cheaper non BMW options available.
