Cd Magazine Stuck... - BMW Forum

Just purchased a 95 525i and of course the first thing my wife checks is the cd changer! Anyway, the magazine doesn't eject when the button is pushed. What's the best way to eject it manually? thanks.

Does the motor make noise? If it does, you may just need to hold the button and press kind of twoard the buttong on the front of the magazine.

If it doens't make any noise, you may not have power back there. I'd check that it comes up and says "no disc" on the head unit.

If it's just fried, let me know. I've got an extra one I'll sell you.

When I first got my 318i it wouldn't eject properly, so I pushed it in really hard and it came out. That happened again about a week later, so with my technical knowledge being nill, I smacked it. Has worked fine ever since.
