Car Service Mileages don't countdown

Hi,
I have a 2004 530I. The mileage in Service menu don't countdown. For Example the Oil Change is 11000 and Brake pad 25000 and others are same. Why it is like this?

A lot of people have reported this as an issue. I havent heard anything too negative about it. It doesnt affect anything if it doesnt countdown.

Its a different sensor for low oil pressure and brake pad wear. They operate independentley of each other.
