Wonder if anyone has insight to my problem here. Last month I had to replace the exhaust camshaft sensor. Then, as expected, the intake sensor went, so I replaced that as well. Now that both sensors are new, I still get a code 0344: camshaft sensor bank A (intake side) intermittent. It triggers about once a week, and I've just been erasing the code. Also possibly related (or maybe not), it's been taking a few extra seconds to crank the car up at startup. Any thoughts appreciated!
Are they genuine BMW, my mate went through 5 sensors in 6 weeks, luckily the last two he bought were genuine so BM just gave him new ones, so yes even new ones can be faulty, so if you did get it from BM, take it back and get a new one, all BM parts carry 12 month warranties.
