Greetings,
The convectional wisdom is BMW don't haggle with prices, but any deal is more then just the price of the car. I'm trading in a 2005 530 and hope to get you guys feedback.
My experience with buying new BMWs is fairly limited but I can say that a friend of mine bought a new 5 series(six cylinder) the same year that they did the model change around 2010 and got a 10K discount on it. This was in New Jersey and I am not sure if they did this elsewhere. With the massive depreciation that new ones take I couldn't imagine not getting something off the list. If it were me I would be buying the best 2 year old one I could get for a 50% discount unless money means nothing to you. LOL And I guess if that were so you wouldn't be asking how to save it!(by the way... saving money is a good thing!)
