building my case/bad paint

I am posting this to get any info about any paint problems peopele may have had.

My06 525i I have had for 2 weeks has paint problems.

The paint is chipping and I have found many whitish spots on the paint. The dealer has seen it and I have another appointment on Tuesday.

I have contacted BMW NA and they want me to let the dealer figure it out.

I have heard of many people having similar problems with paint.

Please reply with your info if you can help.

Thanks, Billysunshine

Trust me, you wont get a new car because of bad paint. Lemon laws don't apply to paint, therefore they'll just give it a good respray and send you on your way.

bad paint

I told them I shouldn't have paint issues in a new car.

I also know a respray will depreciate the value of my car.

Im having the same problems with whitish spots on my 06 530 silver. Looks to me like hard water stains but these do not come off. At a closer look it seems like the clear coat is gone in small spots. Can you please give me more info about your problem so that i may take this info to my bmw dealer as reference.
