Hi,

I just bought a fully loaded 525i, And it says that the sports package has the exterior shadowline trim. Is this the chrome trim around the windows? because my does nto seem to have it. Or is it something else?

Do I need to return it to the dealer? Also. the car beeped twice maybe 30 mins apart. and each time it was like 3 or 4 consecutive short beeps. Any reason?

Thanks,
0BMW

Im not sure but I believe that that is the lack of the silver strip on the trim and around the window

think you're right slvr

Standard cars come with silver trim or the optional black (shadow).

They seem to be using a posh name for dechroming these days.

Yes you are both right, shadowline is the black trim around the window.

On the e39, the trim on the bumpers, doors, etc were no different between the sport and non sport models.

The e60 doesnt even have trim around the car like that.

You guys are right! It is the lack of the Chrome, which I guess makes it look sportier. I think it will look even better when I tint the windows...
