Got a '93 525 and lookin at either a B&m or UUC shifter. There is a big disparity in price about a $100 less for B&M. Im not a racer so dont need superior quality, anybody had experiences w/ either shifter? In addition, how about just replacing stock shifter bushings? Has anyone had this experience and can this be done at home? THX.

I spoke w/ a shop owner and of course he said the $280 UUC is better, so it just depends on the $$.
