| You should replace them as soon as possible. I think I went abot 1K miles and that was too long. I replaced mine with Padgid pads I ordered from Bavauto, similar in performance to stock pads. Don't forget to buy the sensor wire at the same time. To reset the light after the repair is made turn the key to the run position and watch the warning lights go out one by one. It should take about 11 seconds for the brake warning light to extinguish.
