I just got the front rotors and pad's replaced.
Whenever I'm doing 60 + and hit the brake my steering wheel vibrats (badly)
Also, at stop's the brake makes squeaking noise.
I had the job done by The Little garage (Queens, NY) I called them yesterday and they told me to bring it back in... Is there something I should kn is advance? what could be the problem?
Sounds to me like bad thrust arm bushings. When they go bad, slight vibrations in braking can be magnified and transferred to the steering wheel, causing the shimmy.
As far as brake squeal, the shop should be able to fix that with some brake quiet applied to the brake shoes.
sounds to me like they didnt quite put the rotors on right, and maybe the from ones are not square to the axle? i dont know but they should fix it, as it isnt your problem that its doing this... as for brake noise, they will just put some brake quieter on it and itll be god to go...
yeah parts shuld still be good unless you hit something hard with your wheel... ima go with 325is baby on this one... check for a warped front rotor...
Make sure they use a good lubricant (not oil or WD40) I use a substance called Bostik (it's like anti-sieze) when I do brakes...the noise should go away.
