Brake Linings warning

I have a 91 535i, just bought it. new brake linings were just installed along with sensors but prior to me buying. The previous owner had the work done, however, they never figured out how to reset the warning indicator. Can anyone help?

The warning indicator should go out once new pads and sensors are fitted, if I was you I would check all the sensors to make sure that they are new!!!

Agreed with Marti5. One of my buddies had this problem on his E34 just like you are talking about. It was because the brake pad sensors were not replaced when the pads were.

If that is not the case, and they are indeed new, I'm sure you can have it reset fairly cheaply.
