The brake lights have been working perfectly for many a year. Suddenly, the brake LT circuit warning message came up on the display panel. Everone has said it is the brake light switch. I have looked everywhere on the brake pedal and surrounding parts but there is no switch or wires where people say it is. I looked at the diagram in Realoem.com but it definately is not there !!! I need some help fast! I have no brake lights therefore no car.
Brilliant!! Thanks johnnybayonne . This site told me that on RHD cars the swith is under the passenger well and NOT on the brake pedal! What the hell is it doing there??!!
Anyway, found it and fixed it . Thank you for your assistance and also thanks to witeshark for trying.
