Things go in spurts it seems. Not only here but in other forums as well. Ive noticed a small decrease in volume for the passed few weeks however this happens from time to time. I wouldnt let it scare you. Im sure things will pick right back up.
+1 to what DT said. Posts/threads come in spurts. I've been on here fairly consistently since joining in October 2004, and there are very few people on here now that were active on here then. I've noticed a surge since late Spring, but I agree it seems to have slowed up since then.
I also frequent the Roadfly E39 forum, which I've found to be more active than here, but I ALWAYS check the 5-er threads here on Bimmerwerkz first. I've noticed that many Roadfly-ers also post on Bimmerfest, usually under the same nicknames.
Now that I've sold my 540, I'm going to be fading away, but I notice I still check here first before hitting "Maxima.org". At least I sold it to M3UOND, who is now participating here in addition to B-Werkz's M3 section.
PS - I think on the next forum I join I'm going to be "Mr. Jingles"...

Anyone else a part of other forums they find informative? I have perused BMWTips and just don't like that format.
I will still be lurking, just not as much as I used to.
Cheers!
BMW tips is extremely valuable as a site, and their forum (which is actually the Roadfly forum to which I referred) is a good group. As I mentioned, there's alot of commonality between Roadfly and Bimmerfest members and posts.
So I noticed you are both new and a self-labeled "lurker". How about posting up some photos to your gallery section? Share some lessons/discoveries about your car that you've made? Participate, man! This forum's not nearly as militant as some regarding re-posts...

Yeah, this board is definately not as active as it once was. It used to be LOTS of fun as well as informative back before / when I joined.
It's still good, just a bit slower. There are a bit of knowledgeable people who will chime in, but don't check daily. It's still a great source of info.
