After all the infomation i tried to look for in trying to see if certain short shifters would fit my e34 i have actually found the right info and have bought and fitted a short shifter in my car and i tell you now WOW what a huge difference im very satisfied.I tried many companys and ebay to find a short shifter for my e34 and no one listed them for a e34 so i bought a e30/e36 one as i emailed someone from america and asked and I know now and would like to tell others who may be interested that all bmw gear sticks are universal.
