BMW security?

hey guys i just got my first BMW, its an 06 530xi. i was wondering, how worried should i get about the bmw being stolen? i dont have any anti theft device at all just keyless entry. is there any OEM immobilizer(built in or not) ? do u guys recommend any anti theft device? i know, i know, if an expert theif wanted my car, theres nothing that can stop them. but anything that can slow them down?

There is in fact a computer immobilizer built-in. It's pretty hard to steal a modern BMW.

You can have the ultimate in car security installed---a LoJack.

I don't know about the '06 but with the '08, BMW Assist includes a stolen vehicle recovery service.

you can't steal it without having a copy of the key. and good luck getting a copy if you don't own the car.
