washed my '04 530i and noticed that the enire BMW hood ornament/logo was missing - looks like paint peeled of or something - whats up with that

any idea how much to get it fixed? ghead

bavauto.com has 'em for 11 + 2 grommets at 1.50 each or something like that... plus the shipping.

u can probably get it cheaper at your local dealer.. removal of the old one/installation takes all of the 30 seconds.

i got mine for 20 bucks from my mechanic.....
instead of messing with a screw driver from the outside with risk of scratching paint... just pop the hood, remove part of the foam stuff from the opposite side of the hood, and push the silver tab things out(popping the emblem off).
just push the new one in... Wah-La, you are fixed.
