Look in the parts list. Two different body part numbers
41 31 1 944 559 Roof panel f lifting-sliding roof
41 31 1 973 990 Roof panel

According to the parts list the following were (or could have been), imported to USA with or without sliding roof 525i (M20)/(M50),530i (M60), 535i (M30), 540i (M60), M5 3.6 (S38),
BUT (If I am reading it right)
Also according to the parts list the 520i (M20) was only Europe & (M50) was Europe , Japan and South Africa, so you may have an import??
