bmw 525d e60 timing belt or chain?

Hi im new to this site,ive just bought my frist beema a 525d e60 6speed im having swirl flaps done as it sounds like the way to go,just wanted to ask if my car has a timing chain or belt? Cheers

Its Bimmer, not "beema". What are swirl flaps? And your car has a timing chain.
