The fuel warning light came on only for an instant and the fuel ran out before I got to the petrol garage. However, after filling up my engine light is constantly on(deterioration of exhaust emission control values). Th car is driving fine otherwise. I am a bit concerned as I have just spent £964 on an inspection 3 service and new brakes and don't want to spend any more right now!
Is there air in the sytem caused by a lack of fuel and will the light go out on its own or do i need to pop into the dreaded dealer?
