bmw 520 sigma immobiliser help!!

Hi i have got a 520 i se. g reg. come s with standard sigma alarm / immobiliser. Normally wen i get in car put ignition on so service light s come on then press key fob & led on dash flashes once & i can then go start car.
This didnt happen the other day... and i cant figure out why. i have changed batteries with no joy. when i got car there was a pin number written on back of sigma manual so i have tried putin that in the keypad. still no joy. can anyone help me or give me ADVICE to try troubleshot this problem. or is there any way i can deactivate the immobiliser so i can move the car as i am wanting to sell the car. HELP ME!!

In dealing with alarms/starter kill devices, I recommend you taking it to a car audio shop and having them remove it. It sounds like it is defective to me.

ok, cool. do you know of any thing i can do to get car started as it is parked in town centre so i can get it to a specialist??? even if it be temporary

If you arent familiar with the way a starter kill functions, it may be worth a tow truck. If you are I can find out the starter wire color and maybe walk you through bypassing the starter kill relay.
