Blue smoke

at not very often degree at startup (hot or cold) blue smoke comes out of the tail pipe. The BMW shop tested the psi vac as was 5-6psi which he claimed it did not show CCV problems. He suggeted that some kind of cyclonic device could be bad. Anyone here of such thing?
thanks

whats the general condition of ur spark plugs? wet? dry? black? brown?, grey?

engine condition at ide? smooth? rough? uneven?

then again... when was last tune-up? i.e. last time a compression check was taken? if recently... what were the readings?

what year and model do you have?
