hi everyone,
i've had my '94 530i V8 for 3 years now, and now i don't. i had the water pump replaced twice before my car overheated. my mechanic did a pressure test from the radiator hose, and white mist came through the exhaust. My mechanic's conclusion is that the head's are warped or there's a crack in the block somwhere. i love my car, and i need an egine for it. any good leads?

Several months ago I lost my engine in a flood. I was able to get a complete engine from an auto wrecker. The engine came of a damaged 1999 528i with 40sK. Runs great although my car is 1997. So check around for those junk yard places in your home state. Some of them do have good junk like this engine ($1000-$1200)!!
thanks,
i live in wisconsin, so i'll check around. what state do you live and which salvage yard? i'm not too worried about shipping. do you know if 740 V8s from 94-96 fit?

NEW JERSEY..check them out here and I hope they have it; if not they may lead you to a place in your home state thus saving on the shipping.
good luck
