jmig is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I have a 97 540 sport with 114K on it and I had my front strut plate break a week ago.

I had received the recall to repair this probelm and took it to dealer, but they told me it could not be done since I had changed my OE sport wheels for OE M5 wheels.

Well, I have H&R sport springs and Bilstein sports strut coming this week and I spoke to another owner that stated Bilsteins don't come with the lower spring plate on the front.

NE1 here had to reuse ther OE spring plate?

TIA
