h2oskidad is an unknown quantity at this point
My mechanic was putting new bilstein hd's on my 99 528 and was told the front shocks won't work because the spring mount was not on the new shock and is an integral part of the old one and can't be reused....I went to bilstein's website and they state"old spring mount must be reused"....has anyone had this experience? Does anyone know how to get the old spring mount off the shock?
