| While looking for a vacuum leak and oil separator problems under the intake manifold, I stumbled accross a hose connected to the engine with a clamp right under the manifold, didn't like the look of whitish corrosion around the clamp (no visible or serious leaks though) so I gentley proped it with a long screwdriver, and boy it was timed to burst gushing antifreeze all over the engine; the clamp/connection is facing to the right while looking at engine. If you look through/between the oil filter housing and power steering pump reserv. you cannot miss it. the thickest hose under the manifold.
Because it is covered by the plastic piece on top of the manifold it become hard to see it or check it for deterioration. So please add it to your regular maintanance schedule/list to avoid invisible leaks, overheating, and thus towing. JUST IN CASE.
P.S. The credit for this one goes to both of my friends Dirty-tools and CosmosBlack. Hey guys the engine codes for "THE ROUGH IDLING POST" have been reduced from 8 codes to 2 codes only. Many thanks to both of you |
