What is the best size tire you think for aftermarket replica M5 rims.
Putting them on a 2001 E39 525i
WHEEL SIZE 18" X 8"
OFFSET 20 mm
BOLT PATTERN 5 lug, 120 mm
I"ve been looking around and don't know what size will fit properly.
245/40-18
234/50-18
or any other suggestions? I didn't get the rears staggered like i should have, but too late to return the rims now.
thanks!

Sorry to be such a bore but if you look back through my posts all your questions will be answered - failing this you could actually open the drivers door and look at the friggin sticker on the center column.
Hey man, since you're still outfitting for tires and you wish you had gone staggered, I recommend you put your plans on "hold" for just a few more days and buy two more rims at the desired 9" width (make sure your offset is right) and then sell off two of your existing rims as "brand new" or "like new" on e-Bay or a local Swap Sheet or something, before you mount any tires on them. You won't recover ALL of your money, but hey, you won't lose it all either and now is the best opportunity for you to sell, before you've used them at all. I wouldn't trade the look of the staggered rims for anything...
