I can spend $80 at Bav Auto or $15 on ebay for what looks like the same thing. Has anybody had experience with the $15 ebay version? Are they really the same thing?

Hey Eric - What's up? IMHO your car looks great without...
Not sure about the eBay ones? For my future mods, I'm still deciding on who's going to get my hard earned $$$. I did email BavAuto yesterday and received a prompt response. They seem to have a good selection, etc.

One more thing ... like others have posted here -- BE CAREFUL on EBay.
However, I have seen several good posts about EBayer PavRac. Although, I'm not so sure?? I emailed him Friday midday about purchasing lights he had listed as a "Buy It Now Option". I was needing the lights by the weekend so I could install before leaving town for a couple of weeks. I emailed him offering to pay the overnight fees, etc. Still have not heard from him?? used
Although my request was a little unusual, to me it was not out of the ordinary -- considering I was willing to pay the price.
As a business owner, I fully understand timing issues, shipping concerns, inventory headaches, etc. But NO RESPONSE is not good business. As a fair person, I will definitely give him the benefit of the doubt ... if he ever contacts me with an explanation.
Moral --- BE CAREFUL!
Just some elderly advice from your good ol' Uncle Jim
P.S. I just noticed your user name -- B at the end. I thought you were a different user...so please ignore my first reply regarding your car (looks good without) Sorry

Erik B -
I believe good bargains can be found on e-Bay, but I learned awhile back not expect ANY quality unless you are buying a name-brand, and even then you need to be careful of cheap knock-offs. I generally avoid car parts on e-Bay, especially mechanical parts. Doesn't keep me from looking, but about the only car part I bought recently on e-Bay was a new BMW rechargeable flashlight for the glove box (a mere $9.99).
Sorry, this doesn't answer your immediate question, but I was just piling on to what "Uncle Jim" said. In this case, there is no "brand name" to consider, so it's a roll of the dice, but I'd say the odds are against those $15 pieces being anything you'd want to put on your Ultimate Driving Machine... Bav Auto has a great reputation and you pay for that. I guess I would look somewhere in between those two price points if it were me....

ERIC S --- As you can see in my P.S. I thought he was you / you were him / I was him / you was I ... ok enough!
Wise words from "O Brother Where Art Thou" --- whispering in movie theater -- "We thought you was a toad" Good night all.
ErikB...I have the eyebrows from ebay for $19 total with shipping.
They are pretty good quality plastic, flexible and won't crack. What else more would you expect from a small piece of plastic like that?
I too thought about the difference between the different price range in products out there when I was looking to buy them.
One thing though, my car is black and the plastic is black. Perfect fit!
Now if you have to paint them...I have no idea on that...
