Question The battery on my 2002 525i is missing...

Where is the battery? is it still under the rear passenger seat, like on my previous 525i? used:

LOS is an unknown quantity at this point
The battery is located inside trunk. Remove the side cover to access it.
On one side you'll find the CD changer and the other side is the battery location.

i messed up, my car is a 525it (wagon) - no trunk. any idea where it is?

Holy crap! I didn't see your pic...
I would think it's the same location. Look for an access panel by the rear, next to the tail light.... Did you get a driver's manual? Get one for free from BMWNA after you register your car with them.

Check in your spare tire well it is located there on the X5.
