yellowistheway n00b Join Date: Oct 2010 Car: Posts: 10 Photos:	Battery or Alternator or Something Else? I have a 2000 528i and last week it was taking longer to start the car. I never had any problems with start up before, but now I notice that I am holding the key turned longer before the car will start up. It usually happens after it's been sitting (after an 8 hour work day, or overnight) for hours. The battery light on the dash is NOT on. I am wondering if I need a new battery or if it's something else like alternator? Please help Thanks.
