Where are you based? Cheap to buy may not work out so well if the postage will kill you.

The question you have to answer is how lucky do you feel. The recommended gel batteries are more expensive then the standard acid based. I had a BMW tech state that since the thing is in a confined space there is a potential for it to explode if I put a standard battery in it. Don't know. Trust the tech. Used the expensive battery but your choice may be different. I could have been conned.

I changed out what looked to be the original Gel battery in my car which was just short of 11 years old. So it may be worth getting the good one if you plan to keep the car for any length of time.

cheers got normall cell battery for 66 pound inc delivery, the fella said it would be fine so fingers crossed, cheers all merry xmas
