Back with a new beemer !!!!

Hi all,
Havent posted on here for some time as i got shut of my " project " 1990 318i and sent it to the scrapyard.
Sold my rx7 because the wife wanted me to "grow up " and buy a more appropritae family car,,,so, i bought a mitsi evo 4,, had 4 doors, a boot and plenty of room.
6 weeks later, the wife has left me, taking our 3 yr old daughter with her, telling me what a lazy bastard i am, and that the evo was one of the reasons why she was leaving.

So, losing money in the process, i did a straight swap for a very tidy, late 96 523i se, with a transplanted 2.8 vannos, and 20" one off machined alloys.
Gearbox is steptronic, with the upgraded software flash, and there is also a second ecu in the glove box which has been well upgraded for performance and power increases.
Overall am very pleased,,,, just hope the wife sees that i am making positive moves in trying to save our marriage.
Not saying getting the beemer will do that at all, but it will make her see that i am trying to be more responsible...

Well good luck man. The color is NICE! 5-series are nice but they don't offer that much room. They are surprisingly small for a family car. I guess it's good in your case where you only have a small child.
