MICHELLE n00b Join Date: Apr 2012 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	asc button my 1997 528i the asc button i guess is off and i cant turn it on and my car acts like it wont go into gear. the light is on u know the ' ! " with the circle and also my abs light is on. happened at the same time. help.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. Of that doesn't clear it take to get the OBD system scanned for any stored codes.
