Just replaced old instrument cluster due to pixel issues. Noticed that mileage is lower than on old cluster , hence tamper proof light is on. Also noticed that ASC+T (triangle light and ABS light is on constant after start up. Changed standard wheels a 2 yrs ago to 18 inch rims and also, no triangle light on during start up with old cluster. Need help.
I know you have to get the replacement cluster programmed to get rid of the tamper dot, I also wondering if the car you got the cluster from had an ABS problem and the light was on and it is now stored in the cluster memory.....so needs programming to your car so it communicates with your ECU....here in the UK only BM can do this programming..
