| I know people don't really like to answer these types of posts, but I promise the pics of the this car when I'm done will be a small repayment and tribute to an already beautiful E34. (Lame I know, but what the hell I'm hoping for some good experienced advice.)
I already have Bilstein shocks all around and a Tri-flo exhaust. The car has been this way for quite some time. These are the soon to be dones and what I can find so far: Who uses what and what do you think? Springs:
Bavarian Autosport
Eibach:
AC Schnitzer (out b/c of $600 cost LOL).
Dinan: $411 Alignment correction:
My engineering brain won't let me a drive a car lowered without correcting the resulting shitty alignment. It appears Dinan offers front camber plates, and an adjustable rear subframe to adjust rear camber. $248 front, $295 rear. Anyone have these? Chips:
Bavarian Autosport (very convincing marketing, upgradeable, tuned for my mods, etc.) Hell, I'm going to call them tomorrow for info on a custom chip for my exhaust and maybe a new intake, git 'er done all at once.
Any other recommended brands? EAT? Dinan? Conforti? And now for the most fun of all: Complete replacement of the stock stereo.
Specifically, what do you guys for front speakers? We have the kick panel speakers, and two higher near/on the doors. I'd like a component system with the tweeters mounted in the stock tweeter locations and midrange in the kick panels. Does anyone have this setup/and or know the tweeter size? Crutchfield only lists one speaker for the front, and it's not a component... I think it goes in the kick panel. I plan to use one 4 channel amp, 2 chan for the front, 2 bridged for a sub and use the internal amp channels for the rear (my head unit not yet installed has only 1 pre amp output).
I know I may not get many answers with this long ass post, but anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
