Any e34 upgrade experts in NY or Westchester?

Hi, new to forum, new to 1990 535i, all stock original, Arizona car 94,000 miles, in beautiful condition inside and out. I want to do a few tasteful upgrades like wheels (like style 5's) and headlights and woodgrain and radio but I need a good mechanic who knows this car and the upgrades. Does anyone know a good shop for this kind of work either in NYC or Westchester County NY? Thanks.

18x8" wheels make a nice upgrade, thats what mine are. A 235 or a 245/40/18 with stock suspension works fine too. There are drop-in kits available for headlights and woodgrain both. On the radio, stick with a car audio shop that carries name brands. Most of them have to go through a sales seminar and get certified to be able to sell their products. Good luck and to the forums. There's a few quirks on this car, but overall nicely built.

OK here you go. First off - Welcome to da Werkz!

On the sound system, go to Rudy (owner) at Best Sound and Security in Flushing. They are Alpine certified and others and do all audio, video, custom and security upgrades to high end cars. They custom built my Roadster's audio system including a subwoofer box and as you know, there is VERY tight space in a Z3.
