an alighnment is pretty much the same in every car.

in laymans terms its the angular relationship between the front and rear axles..

it looks at all the adjustable angels of the vehicles suspension. i.e, caster, camber, toe, thrust angle (via rear camber and rear toe).

caster: forward or rear ward tilt from the steerin axis (verticle refrance line form a side view.)

the verticle refrance point is an imaginary line drawn down the center of the wheel.

camber: is the tires top to bottom tilt (inward or outward) from again the verticle refrance point

toe: the tires horizontal tilt from back to front.

all of them have a great deal to do with how smooth your car handles on the road. one thing goes wrong and youll definetly feel it.
