i THINK there was a e34 with all wheel. but not a e39 nor e60 that i know of

Welcome.

The only 5er to ever have All wheel drive was 525ix e34 (89-96). I don't think any of the new 5s are ever going to have it.

According to one salesman I talked to, BMW will introduce AWD in the 5-Series this coming January. No details as to which models will have it or exactly when they will be taking orders.

yes, there was a 525xi. As a matter of fact, theres a SWEET blue one down the street from me. I think im going to steal the CELIS/LED lights off of it....they look SO cool.
