Problems with the battery over the last couple of months having to jump start the car every couple of weeks. The alarm went off at 5am and then again ot 7am took the battery out as nothing else would work. I have the battery charging in my house but now my boot will not open with key and I need to reconnect the battery. I am also worried that when I do get the battery back in the alarm will continue to sound. please!!!!

Reason: model and year
Basically you need a new battery, as for the alarm it may go off ,but you should be able to cancel with remote, as for opening the boot, why cant you with the key ??

I stepped in a plate of Pasta the other day - now I have to worry about my Carbonara footprint!

I have had the battery checked recently and the indicator is not on yellow. I have now connected the battery to the car via jump leads to give enough power to open the lock. I am now looking into the climate control which seems to have a mind of its own blasting air one minute and nothing the next. I noticed from another member that had this problem and he replaced the resistor which stopped the battery from draining. all ideas welcome to resolve the problem
