Aircon doesn't work, why?

Hi..

I recently bought a e34 520i with vanos from '93.

Then theres 2 buttons under the button with heat for the rear window, but when i press them they doesn't light.. I looked in the bumper and the fan doesn't run. I just tried to turn it around with my hand and its a little hard but possible to do it. The seller said that it could be freon that has to be replaced or filled..?

What can it be?

check your fuses and the switch that is not lighting up. With the hood open and the car on, turn on the a/c. If the compressor is low, it will still try to turn on. Hope this helps.

Go get the air con regassed at a proper place and they will soon tell you whats the problem.
