air bag warning light

I recently removed the driver seat.
Since refitting, the air bag light is fixed on. I am told I need a reset by the dealers. Is there a simpler/cheaper solution please?

I had the same problem with my BMW Airbag Warning light and got a quote from a local garage, which ran me in to hundreds of pounds to fix!
