| Ugh, just got home, left at 1 PM, got back at 6.
Anyway, driving along, smelled coolant.
Ok, fine, a little leak isnt unusual for me.
Smoke starts pouring out of my hood, and its windy out, I pull over. Pop the hood, smoke goes everywhere, shut off the car, stand around. look at the engine.
Big coolant leak. flooded the parking lot a bit, let the engine cool off (was overheating a little)
limped the car to my buddy's house, let the crazyness begin. We start looking for the leak, jack the car up, play with the thing. Anyway, turns out its a heater valve, on saturday...no place has one. Called AAA, took 1 1/2 hours for them to get a tow truck out to me. Tow it there, park the car, leave a message, leave the keys.
So...how big of a job is replacing a heater valve? I'm just gonna have my mechanic do it because I need a coolant flush anyway, because its more water than coolant at this point. UGH.
