I am new to this forum as I am planning to by a used E60. I was looking for as much advice as possible. I wanted to buy a diesel preferably manual, but I was not sure about engine size. I am either thinking of buying the 525d or the 520d. I was wandering if the 520d is under powered? Also I found insurance to be very expensive. I am 28 with 5 years no claims and am getting quotes for £950, which seems very high. I would also appreciate any other advice on where to buy from and what to look out for. Also anything else you can think off.
