ben_t is an unknown quantity at this point
I want to install additional interior (CCFLs) lights and want to know where I can tap off 12V from the interioir lilght switch so that when I open the doors and the interior lights turn on, the new lights will turn on as well.

Is there the required 12V line in the centre console or dash, and is it easy to get to?

The CCFLs draw nearly 1A, is this too high and hence will it end up diming the original lights?

Thanks
