| ACS/ABS and tranny won't shift into top gear in D
acs/abs light came on yesterday whe I was driving. the car is in excellant mechanical condition and was just wantgin gto look at it before I took it to the dealer next week, the dealer is closed on the weekends. both lights cam on the same time. also at the same time the tranny would not shift into high gear when in Drive (D). I can however shift from 3 to D and slightly let off and it will go into high gear. Is the any relation to the abs/acs lights being on and the tranny? It happened exactly at the same time so I do not know what they have in common. everything else seems to be normal. After doing a liitle research I am thinking it has something to do with the abs wheel sensors. I noticed several times before when I go over some rough roads that the acs light will light momentarily and go out. It has probally happened only a few times over the last year never giving any other indication of any issues. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
