Is it right that if the car was idle for a period of time, that can cuase the AC gas to be less?

Should'nt affect the air-con if you are at idle for along time or not, as in your stuck in a jam and it 40 degress and your air-con starts to drop and go warm!!! dont think so, well never had it ever happen to me on any car, but I have my air-con serviced every two years.

It maybe your compressor is on its way out, or you have a refrigerant leak ( which is very bad ).

My ac was also fully serviced almost two years back & a lot of things have been changed. I think it is time to do it again.

Thanks for your help.

just filled gas & so far it is fine. will monitor the situation for some time & see how fast the gas will leak again before taking it for service.
