AC Problems

Wanted to see if anyone out there has issues with their ac too. I have an 04 E60 and the ac is acting up. I put it on MAX and it doesnt blow as hard as it did before. Sometimes it blows ok, sometimes not so hard and sometimes real little. This is my second bimmer that has ac issues. Are BMW's just not good in that dept? I mean it supposed to be "The Ultimate Driving Machine"

Your Blower Resistor might need to be repalced. I found out by taking it to the dealer under warranty years ago. I have never looked for it, but hear it is easy to replace and inexpensive.

oh wow u think that might be it? my warranty just expired and im afraid to bring it in cause they will literally take the clothes off ur back! but i will look into it..... Thanx for the info

have you checked your pollen filter at all? also a possibe suggestion, disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes and then hook it back up, but keep in mind you'll lose radio presets and stuff like that if ya do try it

Are you talkin about the cabin air filters?..... i did change those not too long ago. Thanks for the battery idea, I will have to try that.
