ABS and traction controle lights on

I was parking my car and i saw that my ABS and my traction control lights were on.. they were on once before and there was a problem with my transmission.. some system was failing to make it go into 2nd gear.. got it fixed.. then i turned my car back on to see if it was switching.. and every gear switched just fine.. so i don't know what the problem is this time.

Check codes and see if a wheel speed sensor may be bad. Those will cause ABS and traction control lights to come on, as well as cause tranny shift issues. Happened to me, replaced faulty sensor, all has been fine since.

Another thing to consider is the brake fluid. In my E30, the ABS light comes on if the fluid needs changing.

My speedometer stopped working, im almost 100% sure its my speed sensor.

another thing i discovered... when i push down on my gas my gas drops dramatically.. then when i take it off the gas or break it goes back to normal.. weird.
