ABS/Speedometer/Cruise

I have read a bunch of forums on the subject not sure of the best soultion here is my exact situtaion.

1999 540 6 Speed

First ABS lights on and Speedometer did not work. Mechanic sent in module
for rebuild and still not working sent back and told that it was good. Reinstalled and after a couple days started working sporatically then on for a month or two. Then started going the other way. Now never comes on. Yesterday the cruise shut off while driving, the light was still on but it would not engage. Today cruise working again. Is it possible it is still the module? Was planning on changing the rear sensor/s. Any thoughts

I presume your mechanic did a diagnostics???
